4060: Need to Reform Financial Incentives for Electric Vehicles
to Remove Bias Against Small Ones; Comments on Proposed Amendments
Dear Committee:
My testimonies on February 12 and February 21 includes photos of
electric and humnan-electric powered vehicles, a category of vehicles
must ultimately prevail in order to avoid catastrophic climate
change. The Oregon Legislature is failing to provide incentives
for such vehicles, instead subsidizing very large and heavy electric
vehicles that will ultimately be considered energy hogs.
I offer below 16 additional photos of the sort of vehicles that the
Legislature should be promoting. The first 2 photos are the
Arcimoto, manufactured in Eugene.
